Ardagh Glass Packaging–North America (AGP–North America), part of Ardagh Group, has introduced a 275ml glass beverage bottle developed in collaboration with Fitz’s Bottling Company. The bottle is now being used for Fitz’s Tonic Water, Tonic Water Zero and Club Soda, with nationwide availability expected from May through the company’s online platform.
The flint (clear) glass bottle is manufactured in the United States and designed to showcase the product while supporting brand differentiation at retail. The format reflects continued demand for smaller, premium glass packaging formats in the beverage segment, particularly among craft and mixer categories.
Michael Alter, Founder and President of Fitz’s Bottling Company, said, “Partnering with Ardagh Glass Packaging from concept to completion on our quality beverage mixer launch was a seamless experience and critical to bringing our vision to life. Glass packaging was central to our strategy, allowing us to showcase the quality, craftsmanship and character of our mixers, and Ardagh immediately understood that vision.”
From a packaging perspective, the bottle is fully recyclable and can be reused in existing glass recycling streams without loss of material quality. AGP–North America stated that the product is also available for other beverage manufacturers seeking similar formats.
Rashmi Markan, Chief Commercial Officer of AGP–North America, said, “We were pleased to work with Fitz’s Bottling Company to develop this 275ml bottle that offers versatility to package multiple products and a design that strengthens shelf appeal.”
The development highlights ongoing collaboration between glass manufacturers and beverage brands to create differentiated packaging formats aligned with recyclability and product visibility requirements.
